Barcelona re-sign Martina Fernandez after activating buy-back clause | OneFootball

FC Barcelona have activated the release clause of Martina Fernández to bring the defender back to the club.

Fernández first joined Everton on an initial loan midway through the 2024/25 season before that deal was made permanent the following summer.

After being a regular for the Toffees last season, 21-year-old Fernández has now returned to Barça signing a three-year contract after the club activated her buy-back clause.

In total, Fernández featured 41 times in total for Everton, scoring twice with both of those goals coming in a 2-1 win over Aston Villa back in February.
