Spanish football’s two biggest clubs have made contact over the potential signing of Eldense youngster Alan Godoy.
That’s according to Relevo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest transfer developments behind the scenes in La Liga.
Frontman Godoy for his part is understood to have set his sights on a winter departure from Eldense.
Highly regarded across the Spanish football landscape, a number of top-flight clubs have in turn touched base with the player’s entourage, over a potential January deal.
And, as alluded to above, front and centre amongst this list of sides are none other than Clásico heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid.
As per a report from Relevo:
‘The Eldense striker is looking for a way out in this winter transfer market and is part of the plans of the two giants, who have already contacted his agents to make him important offers on a financial and sporting level.’
Both Barca and Real are interested in bringing Godoy in to, initially, reinforce their reserve sides.
The 21-year-old, who has already rejected potential moves to a number of other La Liga clubs, has now been left with a major decision to make on his future.
