The streets of Barcelona are about to witness a new kind of football presence. In a move that blends football heritage with urban mobility, FC Barcelona has officially announced a strategic partnership with the global transportation giant, Uber.
This collaboration will see the city's iconic Blaugrana colors adorning a fleet of fully electric Uber vehicles, transforming them into roving ambassadors for the club. The initiative is designed with a clear focus on the fan experience, offering enhanced transport solutions for journeys to the Camp Nou stadium. As part of the deal, dedicated pick-up and drop-off zones will be established around the venue, aiming to streamline matchday logistics.
This agreement with Uber strengthens our commitment to innovation and collaboration with leading brands in transport solutions. The aim of the partnership is to improve fan mobility and traffic management around the new Spotify Camp Nou stadium using environmentally friendly solutions already present in Barcelona. We want to offer our club members and fans a comfortable, safe, and eco-friendly way to get around, said Barcelona CEO Manela del Rio.
