Barcelona star credited with his ‘best game ever’ in Getafe draw | OneFootball

Barcelona star Alejandro Balde has been lavished in praise, on the back of his performance in the club’s most recent outing.

Barca were of course back in action on Saturday night, after making the trip to the Estadio Coliseum for a La Liga meeting with Getafe.

Defender Balde, for his part, featured from the off in the clash, from his customary berth at left-back.

And though it ultimately proved to be a disappointing evening for he and his teammates collectively, the Spanish international shone bright.

En route to an eventual 1-1 draw, Balde impressed on both sides of the ball, a constant source of energy and drive up and down the left flank.

So much so that, as alluded to above, Barcelona insider Javier Miguel has since argued that yesterday’s may have been the youngster’s best-ever showing for the club.

In a post-match review for Diario AS, Miguel had the following to say on Balde:

‘Spectacular. Perhaps his best game as a Blaugrana. A true stiletto on the left flank, always going where and when he wanted. He only needed a little more precision in his crosses to complete a perfect game.’
