A staggering statistic, highlighting the stellar opening to the campaign to have been enjoyed by Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, has surfaced online early this week.
This comes amid confirmation that the 18-year-old, despite his tender years, is completely dominating Europe’s leading leagues when it comes to attacking actions.
Wide-man Lamine is for his part fresh off an altogether productive opening to the new campaign.
After notching a goal and an assist on opening day against Mallorca, the starlet followed up with another assist in a win over Levante, before netting Barca’s only goal against Rayo Vallecano last time out.
Beyond as much, Lamine continued to run riot down Hansi Flick’s right flank, proving himself a constant thorn in the side of opposing backlines courtesy of elite touch, dribbling, and eye for a pass.
And as alluded to above, such efforts have this week given rise to nothing short of an incredible statistic.
As revealed by DataMB (cited by Rising Stars XI on ‘X’), Lamine has racked up 52 attacking actions to this point in the La Liga season.
This is a full 25 more than the next best-placed player in Europe’s top-5 leagues in the same category, Jamie Leweling, on 27.
