Barcelona star is ‘angry’ with the club’s recent behaviour | OneFootball

A leading member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has been left hugely frustrated by the club’s recent behaviour behind the scenes.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Marc-André ter Stegen as the player in question.

Ter Stegen, of course, is in the midst of what have proven an altogether tumultuous few weeks in Catalunya’s capital.

After widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the Barcelona brass had set their sights on the signature of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan García, it quickly became clear that Ter Stegen’s place in Hansi Flick’s squad was no longer secure.

Not only that, but, amid a heavy backlash against the German, the Blaugrana faithful went as far as to start an online campaign, calling for his immediate sale:

All of this taken into consideration, it should therefore not come as a major surprise to hear of Ter Stegen having been mentally affected by the recent developments surrounding his name.

As per Sport:

‘Ter Stegen, although he does not say so, is angry with the situation and with everything that is happening.’

The 33-year-old is said to have been left altogether unimpressed with the lack of transparency afforded to him by the Camp Nou hierarchy, therefore seeking out crunch talks with Hansi Flick and Deco alike.

In the case of being informed that he is on the market, though, it is reiterated that ‘he will not make it easy if he has to leave’.
