Barcelona star joins Real Madrid legend Modrić in two-man club this season | OneFootball

Barcelona star Pedri is one of only two players in Europe’s top-5 leagues to have managed a hugely impressive statistical feat to this point in the campaign.

The feat in question? The creation of 20 or more goalscoring chances, all while maintaining a passing accuracy of 90% or better.

Pedri has of course been in nothing short of brilliant form thus far in 2025/26, one of world football’s standout performer.

From his berth in Barcelona’s engine room, the Spanish international has excelled on both sides of the ball, controlling matches at times almost on his own.

And such ongoing excellence, as alluded to above, has this week been reflected by the statistics.

As per ‘StatMuse’ on ‘X’, only two players in Europe’s leading leagues have managed 20 or more chances created with a 90%+ pass rate this term: Pedri, and Real Madrid legend Luka Modrić (now of AC Milan).
