Right after that news broke, however, Barcelona star Lamine Yamal posted a with Nico Williams on his Instagram story. As Spanish internationals, both players share a strong bond but the timing of this recent post has even led to Fabrizio Romano pointing it out as well.

Barcelona may have to make a big decision

While the implications and coincidental timing of this recent post from Yamal can not be guaranteed for certain right now, it is true that it could potentially be a sign or message. As for what ends up happening between Barcelona and Nico Williams, everything is up in the air right now.

However, a meeting like the one that just recently took place is certainly a big deal. Now, all that remains to be seen is if the potential signing of Nico Williams ends up managing to convince Barcelona completely to the point that they pay his release clause.

With other players such as Luis Diaz still looking to join Barcelona and Ivan Perisic waiting for the club, there are plenty of options out there. Still, Nico Williams seems to be a fan favorite of sorts, and signing him could be a massive statement from the Catalan giants.
