Barcelona star sets himself a goalscoring target for this season | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has set for himself an ambitious goalscoring target for the season ahead.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Dani Olmo as the player in question.

Midfielder Olmo is for his part fresh off something of a difficult start to the new campaign.

Owing to a combination of form and fitness, the 27-year-old has been afforded a starting berth in just one of Barcelona’s first three La Liga fixtures.

As much comes amid stiff competition for places in the attacking midfield spot in Hansi Flick’s squad.

As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped Olmo from laying out a head-turning personal target for goals for the 2025/26 season.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Olmo said just a few weeks ago that he has set himself the goal of reaching 20 goals.’

For reference, in his first term back at Barcelona last time out, the former RB Leipzig standout found the net 12 times.
