Barcelona star spotted back in training ahead of Real Betis clash | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Gavi has rejoined the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad in first-team training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Midfielder Gavi for his part sat out on Wednesday night, as Barcelona booked their spot in the final of the Copa del Rey.

Despite having been expected to play a prominent role against Atlético Madrid in the absence of Dani Olmo, the Spanish international was left on the bench for the entirety of the 90 minutes.

Post-match, it was subsequently revealed that this came owing to a minor fitness problem suffered during the warm-up.

Those of a Blaugrana persuasion, though, need not fret.

As confirmed by Què T’hi Jugues, Gavi was given the green light to take his place back on the training pitch on Friday morning.

The midfield starlet is therefore expected to be available for selection to face Real Betis on Saturday evening.
