Barcelona have received an encouraging boost ahead of the new campaign, with Raphinha’s injury recovery now moving into the final stage following months of frustration on the sidelines.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian international is close to completing his rehabilitation process and will soon begin a period of rest before rejoining the squad for pre-season preparations.
Although Barcelona’s players are scheduled to report back for training on July 13, the club has already agreed a separate return date with Raphinha, allowing the winger additional time to recover physically and mentally after an exhausting season.
The latest Raphinha update is viewed positively within the club, where there is optimism that the attacker will return in far better condition ahead of the new campaign.
The Raphinha recovery process has been lengthy, largely due to a campaign heavily disrupted by fitness problems.

The Brazilian suffered a hamstring injury during his country’s second World Cup match against Haiti, forcing him to miss Brazil’s Round of 16 clash against Norway, where he was named on the bench but did not come on, much to Barcelona’s relief.
That setback added to an already challenging year for the Barcelona captain.
In total, Raphinha Barcelona statistics reveal that the winger missed 26 matches across club and international competitions, making it one of the most frustrating seasons of his career.
Notably, His troubles initially began on September 26, 2025, when he sustained a hamstring injury in his right leg.

The problem would go on to affect large parts of his season and also compromise his participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
After months of dealing with injuries, setbacks and interruptions, Barcelona believe their captain needs time away from football before beginning another demanding campaign.
This explains why club officials want the Barcelona winger to disconnect mentally and physically before reporting back for work under Hansi Flick’s plans.
The expectation is that Raphinha will arrive for pre-season with renewed energy and fully prepared to compete from the opening weeks of the new campaign.
