Barcelona superstar Robert Lewandowski has been one of the most efficient, accurate, and outstanding strikers in Europe for over a decade.
The 36-year-old veteran’s stint in La Liga has been special as well – in his first season in the Spanish league, he won the Pichichi trophy, and this season, he leads the standings with 15 goals.
In total, in La Liga, the Polish international has now scored 57 goals: 23 in the 2022-23 season, 19 in 2023-24, and 15 so far this season.
However, there is still some unfinished business for him in the Spanish top flight, one of which is scoring against Las Palmas.
The Poland captain, who scored his 102nd goal in the Champions League this past Tuesday against Brest, has scored against 20 of the 22 teams he has faced in La Liga.

Therefore, only two teams from La Liga have managed to keep him from scoring, and one of them is Barcelona’s opponent this Saturday: Las Palmas. The other is Almeria.
Lewandowski has faced the Canary Islanders on two occasions: both last season (2023-24). On neither occasion did he manage to find the net.
The Barcelona hitman failed to beat goalkeeper Alvaro Valles, but his team won both encounters.
They triumphed 2-1 in the first round with goals from Ferran Torres and Ilkay Gundogan and 1-0 in the second, with Raphinha finding the back of the net.
The former Bayern Munich superstar, who leads the Pichichi race with 15 goals from the 14 matches played so far, now faces a challenge this Saturday at Montjuic.
Lewandowski is a mainstay in the Catalans’ lineup, playing as the centre-forward, and will start on Saturday, hoping to settle the score against Las Palmas.
