Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski continues to demonstrate his remarkable scoring prowess, setting new milestones as the season progresses.
With 30 goals already to his name, he has become the first player across Europe’s top five leagues to achieve this feat.
To put things in perspective, his closest competitor, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, follows with 26 goals, while Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland both sit at 25.
It must be noted that the Polish striker has already surpassed the 26 goals he managed last season. Now, he stands just two goals away from equalling his best tally of 32 goals during his debut campaign with Barcelona.
Under Hansi Flick, Lewandowski, who is close to triggering automatic renewal, has rediscovered his best form, thriving under the same coach who led him to Champions League glory during their time together at Bayern Munich.
This season’s impressive performances mark a significant improvement from the dip he experienced under Xavi last year.

One of Lewandowski’s most impressive traits is his knack for opening the scoring. Out of 22 La Liga matches this season, he has netted the first goal seven times, more than any other player in the competition.
His ability to break the deadlock often sets the tone for Barcelona’s performances, providing them with a crucial advantage.
In addition to his scoring consistency, Lewandowski has proven to be a nightmare for certain opponents. Alaves and Valencia have particularly struggled to contain the striker.
Across the time he has been at Barcelona, he has found the back of the net seven times against these two teams combined. This season alone, he delivered a hat-trick in the first leg against Alaves and added another goal in the return fixture.
Lewandowski’s contributions remain vital as Barcelona push for success on multiple fronts.
His resurgence under Flick serves as a reminder of his status as one of the most lethal strikers in European football. With his current form, surpassing his previous goal records seems only a matter of time.
