It is safe to say that Pedri has been arguably the best-performing midfielder in European football this season.

Pedri’s valuation reaches new high

Pedri’s meteoric rise has not gone unnoticed. Football database website Transfermarkt had notably increased the midfielder’s value by 25% in December.

Now in its March update, Pedri’s valuation has been increased by 20% more to reach an all-time high of €120 million.

This is quite considerable and indicative of how much Pedri has been influential for the Catalans this season.

In fact, the Spanish international is currently one of the highest-rated midfielders in world football.

A rising valuation, therefore, would further solidify his status as a leader at Barcelona while reinforcing his future at the club.

It must be noted that Pedri’s new deal does not expire until 2030, with the contract also included a massive release clause worth €1 billion.

However, it is also essential that Barcelona keep the player happy and don’t put too much pressure on the Spaniard as he braces himself for more relevance in the years to come.
