Barcelona are unaware of alleged interest from Manchester City in midfielder Pedri, a report has claimed.
The 22-year-old is enjoying a sensational campaign in Catalonia under new manager Hansi Flick and has been touted as an outside contender to win this year's Ballon d'Or as a reward for his role in the Barcelona midfield.
With City set for a midfield rebuild this summer, reports have claimed they could launch a bid of €100m (£83.7m) to try lure Pedri over to the Etihad Stadium, but MARCA have quickly rubbished such speculation.
It is claimed that nobody inside Barcelona is aware of interest from City, although the suggestion has not come as a surprise as Pedri has established himself as one of the best in the world in his position this season.
Regardless of which clubs are interested, Barcelona have made it clear behind the scenes that they will not even entertain conversations about the 22-year-old's future, stressing their complete commitment to Pedri.
Pedri inked a new five-year contract in January and is said to be loving life with Barcelona, who have no concerns about the prospect of seeing him lured away in the near future.
"Signing is the most beautiful thing that's happened to me in a long time, and I'm happy to be where I love most," Pedri said when he put pen to paper on his new deal.
City have been linked with a whole host of midfielders, including Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz and AC Milan's Tijjani Reijnders, while the latest report added Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Larsson to the mix.
