Barcelona teammate hails ‘incredible’ Marcus Rashford after Osasuna | OneFootball

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has moved to make known his appreciation for the talents of attacking partner in crime Marcus Rashford.

This comes after the pair combined to devastating effect during the Blaugrana’s most recent outing.

Hansi Flick’s troops were of course back in action on Saturday evening, making the trip to Pamplona for a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

The aforementioned Marcus Rashford, amid the ongoing injury problems in Barcelona’s frontline, was afforded his latest chance to impress off the bench at El Sadar.

And it did not take the Englishman at all long to make his mark…

Picking the ball up on the right wing, Rashford whipped a sumptuous delivery into the Osasuna penalty area, for Robert Lewandowski to nod home.

And as alluded to above, speaking to the media in the aftermath of a 2-1 Barca triumph, the latter was quick to lavish praise on his on-loan teammate:

“Rashford has incredible crossing ability. Sometimes, it’s not about power, it’s about perfect precision. I’m a striker, and I can tell you that ball was beautiful. It was perfect for me to slot it in.”
