Barcelona trio to return for Athletic Club clash | OneFootball

La Liga champions Barcelona expect to welcome back a trio of important players for their upcoming meeting with Athletic Club.

That’s according to Què T’hi Jugues, who point towards Raphinha, Joan García and Marc Casadó as the stars in question.

Shot-stopper Joan, for his part, is expected to feature from the off in the fixture, replacing Wojciech Szczęsny in the Barcelona goal.

Midfielder Casadó also looks likely to start, amid a personnel crisis in Hansi Flick’s engine room ranks added to by Frenkie de Jong’s red card against Celta Vigo last time out.

Winger Raphinha, meanwhile, is eyeing 2nd-half minutes off the bench, after the best part of two months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Turning focus towards those set to miss out on Saturday, the aforementioned De Jong will be joined by all of Marc-André ter Stegen, Gavi and Pedri in watching the Blaugrana’s long-awaited return to the Spotify Camp Nou from the stands.
