Barcelona host Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
The Catalan side comes into this clash in superb form, winning eight of their last nine games in all competitions.
Their latest triumph was a 2–1 win over Atletico on Saturday, sealed by a late Robert Lewandowski strike that extended their La Liga lead to seven points.
After comfortably beating Newcastle 8–3 on aggregate in the round of 16, Barcelona are full of confidence in its pursuit of both league and European glory.
Manager Hansi Flick continues to juggle injury concerns but has received some positive news ahead of the tie.
Ronald Araujo, who went off with a minor muscle issue at the weekend, has been passed fit to start and should partner youngster Pau Cubarsi in central defence.
Jules Kounde is also likely to return to the starting lineup after being rested recently. On the downside, Marc Bernal is sidelined with a Grade 1 ankle sprain picked up on Saturday, adding to the absences of Frenkie de Jong (thigh injury) and long-term casualty Andreas Christensen.
In attack, Raphinha’s hamstring injury from international duty rules him out, but Marcus Rashford is expected to take his place on the left wing alongside Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal.
Possible Barcelona starting XI: J Garcia; Kounde, Cubarsi, Martin, Cancelo; E Garcia, Pedri; Yamal, Fermin, Rashford; Lewandowski.
The match will kick off at 8pm BST on Wednesday, 8th April.
