As reported earlier, FC Barcelona are now focusing on completing multiple departures before June 30 to improve their financial situation heading into the summer transfer window.

Ansu Fati is already close to leaving for AS Monaco while an agreement is expected to be finalised for the release of Clement Lenglet, who is expected to sign permanently for Clement Lenglet.

Another player who is now facing an exit from Barcelona is young forward Pau Victor, who had joined the club on a permanent transfer last summer.

€5 million price tag

Now, according to SPORT, Barcelona want Pau Victor to leave the club this summer given his reduced prominence and peripheral role in the team.

The idea is for the youngster to leave for a club where he can play regularly and continue his development, with the club likely to retain control of his future by inserting a buyback clause.

As per the report, Victor has attracted interest from five La Liga clubs and teams abroad, with Barcelona aiming to secure around €5 million for the 23-year-old forward.

Sevilla are one of the teams interested, with contacts also having been made about a potential move.

Limited role

Victor played only 29 matches in all competitions this season, starting only two matches, managing two goals and an assist. In all, he racked up only 379 minutes.

The forward, who joined from Girona, was behind Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Ferran Torres in the pecking order.

With Barcelona pushing for another attacking signing this summer, Victor’s prominence would be reduced further.

As such, a departure will likely be the best course of action for the young attacker, with a buyback option inserted. His teammate Pablo Torre is also staring at a similar situation.
