According to SPORT, FC Barcelona are open to listening to offers for Jules Kounde, but only if they reflect the French defender’s true market value.
Although the French international is not considered untouchable, Barcelona have no intention of making his departure easy, amid tentative interest from Bayern Munich.
The sporting department continues to rate the French international among the best right-backs in world football and would only consider selling him if an offer matched that status.
The report claims that Barcelona would be willing to study offers in the region of €50-60 million, a valuation the club believes accurately reflects Kounde’s quality and importance.
However, Bayern, who have shown interest in the defender, unwilling to reach that level. Indeed, the German champions are believed to value the defender at around €40 million, a figure the Blaugrana consider too low.

As a result, there are currently no active negotiations between the clubs, only initial enquiries.
While Bayern admire Kounde, the significant gap between both clubs’ valuations means a transfer is far from becoming a realistic possibility.
Barcelona have not received any formal offer and remain under no pressure to sell. Unless another club meets their asking price, Kounde is expected to remain an important part of Hansi Flick’s squad.
Should Kounde’s situation eventually change, one player admired by Barcelona, as reported already, is Tottenham right-back Pedro Porro.

The Spanish international has further enhanced his reputation with impressive World Cup performances after already establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s top full-backs.
Even so, a deal would be extremely difficult. After all, Porro recently signed a new contract with Tottenham, increasing the club’s negotiating strength.
For now, Kounde remains at Barcelona, with Bayern’s interest considered well below the level needed to trigger serious discussions.
The Frenchman may have endured a difficult last season, but showed his level at the World Cup, and Flick & co. will hope that version of the player shows up when he joins training with Barcelona in the coming weeks.
