Barcelona’s transfer deadline plans confirmed | OneFootball

An insight into the plans of those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona when it comes to the upcoming transfer deadline has on Monday been provided.

The winter transfer window in Spain, of course, is due to slam shut later today.

Barcelona, for their part, have endured an altogether quiet window to date.

Despite links with a whole host of potential signings, the Blaugrana, in fact, have not added a single player to boss Hansi Flick’s squad.

Not only that, but none have departed Catalunya’s capital, either.

Those of a Barca persuasion, in turn, were no doubt holding out hope for a potential last-minute surprise ahead of Monday’s deadline.

As much, however, will not be forthcoming.

As per a report from Carlos Monfort of Jijantes, Deco and co. have no intention of dipping into the market during the final hours of the window:

‘There will be no last-minute surprises. Barça has already closed the transfer market.’
