Rangers delivered a commanding 4–0 win against Aberdeen at Ibrox on Sunday marking manager Barry Ferguson's first home victory since taking charge.

After a tightly contested first half, the deadlock was broken in the 55th minute when Václav Černý capitalised on a defensive lapse to slot the ball past Aberdeen goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov.

Rangers doubled their lead six minutes later. Nico Raskin's incisive play down the left flank culminated in a precise cross, allowing Cyriel Dessers to tap in from close range.

The third goal came from Hamza Igamane, who showcased his skill by controlling the ball deftly and volleying it into the bottom corner, leaving Mitov with no chance.

The final goal was a result of a significant deflection. Černy's shot ricocheted off Jefte, wrong-footing the goalkeeper and finding the net, marking the Brazilian defender's first goal for Rangers in an unconventional manner.

This victory ends Rangers' seven-match winless streak at home and narrows the gap to league leaders Celtic to 13 points. Aberdeen, meanwhile, extended their winless run to 12 games, highlighting ongoing challenges for manager Jimmy Thelin.
