Bastoni robbed during Inter’s Champions League victory over Kairat

Alessandro Bastoni was the victim of an unfortunate burglary on Wednesday evening, while he was on the bench for Inter’s 2-1 victory over Kairat in the Champions League league phase according to reports in Italy.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, a gang of four individuals broke into Bastoni’s home on Wednesday night and stole various items including luxury watches and designer bags from the walk-in closet attached to one of the bedrooms at the property.
The burglars were reportedly in and out within the space of a few minutes, and though alarms were sounded, security and local carabinieri did not arrive in time to catch the offenders in the act.

The centre-back lives in Castelli Calepio in the province of Bergamo, his wife’s hometown, which is roughly 60km away from the city of Milan.
The burglary took place on Wednesday evening, while Bastoni was on the bench for Inter during their 2-1 victory over Kairat in the Champions League at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Bastoni was an unused substitute for the Kairat game, and is expected to return to the starting line-up when Inter take on Lazio in Serie A on Sunday evening.
