Bayer Leverkusen ‘identify’ potential Grimaldo replacement | OneFootball

Bayer Leverkusen are weighing Como 1907 defender Álex Valle as a potential replacement for Alejandro Grimaldo.

Grimaldo has been sold to Atlético Madrid for a reported €25 million, and Leverkusen are now seeking a successor. Sport Bild reports that Valle has been identified as a possible option.

The Spanish under-21 international is a technically sharp left-back who likes to push forward and contribute in attack, similar to Grimaldo.

Valle came through Barcelona’s youth system and would reportedly cost around €20 million.

That price places him in the same bracket as FC Lorient’s Arsène Kouassi, who has also been mentioned as a candidate.
