Bayer Leverkusen forward Martin Terrier has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a thigh injury.

The attacker suffered the problem in the 3-3 draw with 1. FC Heidenheim before the international break. According to BuLi News, head coach Kasper Hjulmand confirmed the news at his Friday press conference.

Centre-back Jarell Quansah sustained a thigh issue in the same game and will miss the meeting with VfL Wolfsburg.

A return against Borussia Dortmund next week remains possible, with Hjulmand saying, "We are hopeful for the game next week in Dortmund."

In better news for Die Werkself, Loïc Badé and Eliesse Ben Seghir have both recovered from their respective injuries.
