Nick Woltemade is spending this season on loan at Juventus from Newcastle United, and the Bianconeri would like to keep him beyond this campaign if he proves to be a success.
Woltemade struggled in England during his first season there last term, but Juventus are confident they can help him produce better performances. If that happens, the Old Lady would consider signing him permanently.
However, it will not be a straightforward operation, as Fichajes reports that Bayern Munich continue to monitor the German striker. They wanted to sign him from Stuttgart last season but were unwilling to pay the amount Newcastle United put on the table for him, leading to his move to England.
Bayern are planning for life without Harry Kane, even though the Englishman is willing to sign an extension to his contract. The report states that the German club see Woltemade as a potential replacement for Kane.
Much will depend on how Woltemade develops during his loan spell in Italy. If he performs well for Juventus and impresses Bayern, the German club could challenge the Bianconeri for his signature when Juventus attempt to make his move permanent.
For Juventus, the immediate priority is to see Woltemade perform consistently during his loan spell. His displays in Italy will help determine whether the club believes he can become a long-term part of their squad.

The Old Lady is not looking too far ahead and wants to see good performances from the attacker this season before considering a future move. Woltemade therefore has the opportunity to influence what happens next through his performances for Juventus.
A successful spell in Italy could strengthen Juventus’ desire to keep him, but Bayern’s continued interest could make any permanent transfer more complicated.
The situation will also depend on Woltemade’s development throughout the campaign. Juventus will want to assess his progress before committing to a permanent deal, while Bayern could continue monitoring his performances.
For now, the striker remains focused on his season with Juventus, with his displays likely to play an important role in determining whether he stays in Italy or attracts another approach.
