Bayern ‘have opened talks’ for Hertha BSC prodigy Kennet Eichhorn | OneFootball

Sport Bild reports that Bayern Munich have opened talks to sign 16-year-old Hertha BSC midfielder Kennet Eichhorn.

Sport adds that Bayern have contacted the youngster's agency, 11Wins, to signal their interest.

The German champions already have ties with 11Wins, who also represent Bayern players Jamal Musiala and Wisdom Mike, which could give them an advantage over rivals.

Eichhorn broke into Hertha's first team at 16 and has drawn interest from several leading European clubs.

Reports suggest his contract contains a €10 to €12 million release clause.

The central midfielder is currently recovering from an ankle injury.
