Bayern ‘keeping tabs’ on Benfica right-back Daniel Banjaqui | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich have added Benfica right-back Daniel Banjaqui to their summer shortlist and are monitoring his progress.

The 17-year-old is under contract until 2027, and with Bayern keen to recruit a new right-back, the player and his representatives have been made aware of the interest.

Banjaqui has mainly featured in Portugal’s second division and the UEFA Youth League this season, amassing 1,478 minutes.

Feyenoord talent Givairo Read remains Bayern’s priority target, although no agreements have been reached.

There are concerns at Bayern over Read’s injury record, with a hamstring problem having kept him out of more than 17 games this season.
