Bayern Munich confirm Nathaniel Brown signing | OneFootball

Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of German defender Nathaniel Brown. 

The 23-year-old defender has joined from Eintracht Frankfurt and has signed a long five-year contract with Bayern Munich, running until June 30, 2031.

Brown becomes the second signing of the summer for Bayern, after the club confirmed earlier this week the arrival of Moroccan striker Ismael Saibari.

Nathaniel Brown: Great signing for Bayern Munich

Brown joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2024-25 season, but he was sent on loan to Nurnberg immediately.

He has made 75 competitive appearances for Frankfurt, recording seven goals and 13 assists.

After playing 14 matches for the U21 national team, he made his debut for the senior German national team in October 2025.

Brown currently has eight caps for Germany and scored his first goal for the team during the 7–1 World Cup opener against Curacao.

Primarily a left-back, Brown can also play on the other flank, and can be used in other advanced positions as well.

He will add tremendous depth to Bayern’s squad, and provide competition to Alphonso Davies for the starting role at left-back.

Vincent Kompany used Tom Bischof and Josip Stanisic at left-back areas last season, but both the players can now play in their normal positions, following Brown’s arrival.
