Bayern Munich are reportedly “interested” in signing Marc Guehi on a free transfer from Crystal Palace next summer.

The centre-back had agreed a £35 million summer move to Liverpool, but the deal fell through on deadline day.

Guehi looks set to leave Palace next year when his current deal expires. He can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs abroad from January onwards.

Liverpool remain keen on signing the 25-year-old and could make another move for him in the winter transfer window, but Barcelona and Real Madrid are said to be among his suitors.

Bayern have also entered the race for his signature, with Sky Sport Germany claiming they “want” to sign Guehi next summer.

The German outfit’s director of sport, Max Eberl is a “big fan” of the defender and “would be happy to lure” him to the club on a free transfer.
