Paris Saint-Germain was interested in Dean Huijsen last summer as part of their defensive overhaul, but the Spanish center-back ultimately signed with AFC Bournemouth. If PSG targets him again, they’ll face stiff competition.

Even after adding Willian Pacho, PSG could still be on the lookout for another center-back, especially with Milan Skriniar likely departing on a permanent deal this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, top clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are all keeping tabs on the 19-year-old.

Huijsen has made a strong impact in the Premier League, drawing praise and attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Should PSG pursue him once more, they’ll have plenty of competition, and the asking price could be substantial.

Could Dean Huijsen be heading to Germany?

According to journalist Christian Falk of the BILD newspaper (h/t Fichajes), Bayern Munich are prioritizing Huijsen as part of their efforts to bolster a defense plagued by injuries this season.

The German club are uncertain about Dayot Upamecano’s contract renewal and physical issues affecting Hiroki Ito, prompting it to seek immediate reinforcements.

Huijsen, whose contract runs until 2030, has an exit clause around €60 million—an amount Bayern Munich and Real Madrid can afford. However, Bayern Munich will need to adjust its salary structure before making a move.

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to spend €100 million this summer to strengthen their squad, with Bournemouth’s Huijsen and Milos Kerkez among their targets, according to Fichajes.
