According to a major update from Fichajes, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has reportedly told Barcelona of his intention to leave the Bundesliga giants in the summer of 2026.
The Englishman, who will be 33 at the time, sees a move to La Liga as the perfect challenge for the final stage of his career. His plan is to succeed Robert Lewandowski and lead the attack at Camp Nou.
Barcelona’s sporting department view Kane as the ideal candidate to take over from Lewandowski, whose current deal runs until 2026.
For the club, this potential signing would represent not only a big-name arrival but also a carefully planned transition, ensuring there is no sudden gap in such a decisive position.
Sources close to Kane suggest that the striker is excited by the idea of a new adventure in Spain.
After establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s greatest forwards with Tottenham and proving his quality again at Bayern Munich, Kane now wants to test himself in another of Europe’s top leagues.

The opportunity to play at Camp Nou and lead a new era at Barcelona is described as something that particularly motivates him.
For Barça, Kane is more than just a proven goalscorer. His experience, mentality, and ability to adapt to different styles of play make him a valuable asset.
In Hansi Flick’s project, a striker like Kane would not only provide goals but also attract defenders and create space for others.
It is known that replacing Lewandowski will be one of the toughest tasks Barcelona face in the next few years.
However, with Kane openly considering the move, the Blaugrana now have a realistic chance of securing a world-class forward who can ensure continuity and leadership at the top of their attack.
