In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Bayern Munich playmaker Lennart Karl wants to join Real Madrid. It is believed that the German whizkid is dreaming of a move to join Los Blancos in the future.
The 17-year-old has managed to break out as an important member of Bayern Munich’s first team this season. Karl has scored six goals and picked up a couple of assists in 22 appearances for the Bavarian giants in this campaign so far across multiple competitions.
The talented teenager has proven his worth in the final third by averaging 3.78 shots per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga. He has kept 43.5% of his attempts on target. Karl has even distributed possession well inside the opponent’s half based on his pass completion rate of 85.7% in league football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the German club will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it difficult for Real Madrid to land him on the cheap this year.

Karl is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The German talent is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also operate as a right-winger if required. However, it remains to be seen whether he can maintain his good form in La Liga. Furthermore, Karl is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth as a consistent performer at the highest level.
Karl would add more firepower to Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso’s attack in the long run. He is more than capable of fighting for regular first-team football at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the coming years.
At 17, the future looks quite bright for Karl as long as he continues to improve with each season. Therefore, Alonso would be wise to move in for him this year as he would be a great signing for Los Blancos in the long run. However, Real Madrid has to be patient with his development before they can get the best out of the gifted attacker.
