Bayern Munich respond to Florentino Perez transfer plans for star player | OneFootball

Earlier this week, Florentino Perez enticed Real Madrid supporters by promising to spend big on a new Galactico if he is re-elected as president this weekend. He did not specify which player he would target, although it has since been revealed that Michael Olise is the man he wants.

Olise is a player that Real Madrid have been interested in for some time, with links having emerged in recent months. Perez intends to submit an opening offer of €150m if he defeats Enrique Riquelme in Sunday’s vote, although the likelihood is that the Bernabeu club receives a negative response to that proposal.

During the time when Olise was previously linked to Real Madrid earlier in the season, Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeness made it clear that no sale would be considered. As per BILD (via Sport), the stance remains the same: he’s untouchable.

Bayern are very aware that Perez plans to bid for Olise if he wins the Real Madrid presidential election, which is why they have moved quickly to make it known that any offers will be knocked back. They are adamant that the 24-year-old, who registered 22 goals and 26 assists across all competitions during the 2025-26 season, will not be leaving the Allianz Arena.

How do Real Madrid approach impending Olise talks?

There is no doubt that the upcoming talks between Real Madrid and Bayern – conditioned by an election victory for Perez – would be difficult for the former. They cannot force the Bundesliga champions to sell, although they may look to pressure Olise to ask for a move away, given they can use the allure of joining the 15-time European champions to convince him to join.

It will be interesting to see how the Olise situation plays out, but first and foremost, Perez’s focus will be on securing an election victory on Sunday.
