Bayern Munich speedster receptive to Real Madrid interest but will not force exit | OneFootball

Michael Olise has once again become a major talking point at Real Madrid as the club grow seemingly keen on making him the next big ‘Galactico’ signing.

Recent reports suggest Real Madrid are planning to make an opening offer for the Bayern Munich sensation in two to three weeks, although the club have denied holding any contact directly with Olise’s camp.

According to Abdellah Boulma, Olise is open and receptive to Real Madrid’s interest, and the prospect of a move to the Bernabeu clearly appeals to the French winger.

However, the player has made his approach clear. While he would welcome the opportunity, he will not attempt to pressure Bayern Munich or create any kind of crisis in order to force his departure.

This makes any potential deal considerably more difficult for Real Madrid to engineer.

For Los Blancos, that means the onus falls entirely on convincing Bayern through a formal offer rather than relying on the player to agitate for an exit.

Bayern determined to keep their man

The biggest obstacle remains Bayern’s firm stance. Internally, the German champions have no intention whatsoever of opening the door for Olise’s departure.

Quite the opposite, in fact, as the club are actively looking to secure his long-term future by extending his current contract.

Olise, who is already tied to Bayern until 2029 with no release clause, has been a key figure under Vincent Kompany, forming part of a formidable attacking unit. His impact in the team is precisely why Bayern have repeatedly insisted he is not for sale at any price.

What’s the play for Real Madrid?

Florentino Perez is reportedly prepared to invest a club-record fee to land Olise, viewing him as the marquee addition to complete an ambitious squad overhaul under Jose Mourinho.

But with the player unwilling to force the issue and Bayern showing no inclination to sell, Real Madrid may find that even a record-breaking offer is not enough to prise the winger away from Bavaria this summer.

For now, Olise’s openness to the move keeps the dream alive, but turning that interest into something more significant will be a challenge.
