Bayern Munich superstar seriously considering future at club; attracted to Real Madrid | OneFootball

In a major development, BILD in Germany (h/t Madrid Zone) reports that Bayern Munich and France winger Michael Olise is seriously considering his future at the Allianz Arena amid interest from Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old attacker, who enjoyed a dream campaign under Vincent Kompany, and is now shining at the World Cup, has emerged as Real Madrid’s next Galactico target.

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is intent on signing the French winger even though the club have officially denied holding any talks with the player or his camp.

Olise open to move

Now, as per the aforementioned report, Olise is understood to be seriously considering his future at Bayern Munich.

The 24-year-old attacker, who joined the Bavarians from Crystal Palace, believes that he has achieved everything that he could at the club over the past couple of seasons.

The winger believes that he wants to develop further and take himself to the next level and that he would not be able to consistently win the UEFA Champions League if he stayed at Bayern Munich.

As such, he is said to be attracted to the idea of joining Real Madrid.

Costly affair

Any move for Olise this summer will not come cheaply as Bayern Munich have no intention of selling their ace attacker.

This was confirmed only earlier this week by the club president Herbert Hainer, who said:

“As I’ve said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had that [a bid] in mind, he can save himself the trouble, because we don’t want to sell Michael.”

However, if the player, who is set to hold a crunch meeting with the Bundesliga champions after the World Cup, does ask to leave, they would demand a huge fee for him.

As reported previously, it is possible that it might take a world record bid from Real Madrid to prise Olise away from the Bavarian giants.

Everything is in a nascent stage at this point, with no formal talks or moves being made so far. But, should it become clear that Olise is willing to leave Bayern Munich, one can expect Real Madrid to ramp up their efforts to sign him up.
