Manchester United and PSG are among the clubs reportedly monitoring Christopher Nkunku’s situation at Chelsea, where the French forward has struggled to find his footing.

Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but injuries and tough competition have limited his playing time. With his future uncertain, talk of a possible transfer is picking up.

Earlier this year, journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that PSG had considered bringing Nkunku back to France but eventually decided against it. Bayern Munich also passed on a January move, though Christian Falk of Sport Bild revealed they might revisit the idea this summer.

Chelsea hopes to recoup as much of their investment as possible, but reports suggest they could be ready to cut their losses and move on from what many see as a transfer misstep.

The Athletic reports that Bayern Munich has renewed its interest in Nkunku. The German champions are keen on the Chelsea outcast after missing out on several targets this summer — like Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams — they’re eager to try again.

Nkunku enjoyed great success in Germany with RB Leipzig, which makes him an appealing option. However, Chelsea is expected to push for a permanent transfer for the 27-year-old.

The Mirror recently reported that Manchester United have been quoted £35 million to sign Christopher Nkunku this summer. Nkunku is on United’s shortlist of striker targets, with Chelsea prepared to take a significant loss after paying £52 million for him just two years ago.

Meanwhile, TEAMtalk previously noted that Chelsea were open to selling Nkunku but had initially set the asking price at £59 million—a figure Juventus considered too high. The Italian side is hoping to negotiate a lower fee if talks advance.

The report also states that Bayern Munich and Newcastle United have shown interest in the 27-year-old ahead of the transfer window.
