Bayern open Kane extension talks, seek Upamecano decision by deadline day | OneFootball

Bayern Munich have opened contract talks with Harry Kane and want Dayot Upamecano to decide his future before the window closes.

Director of sport Max Eberl said, "We are in talks with Harry", and added that the club are waiting for a response from Upamecano.

A new deal running to 2028 or 2029 is expected. Kane is more than willing to extend and is not considering a move.

Bayern have not set an official deadline for Upamecano, but a decision is desired soon, ideally by deadline day.

A final offer remains on the table and will not be improved. The hierarchy are optimistic the French defender will sign in the near future.
