Nathaniel Brown’s transfer to FC Bayern is in its final stages. The transfer fee has already been agreed upon—but one crucial detail still needs to be worked out.
At FC Bayern, final preparations are underway for this summer’s next major transfer. Nathaniel Brown is expected to move to Munich soon to strengthen the left side of the defense. According to consistent media reports, the record champions and Eintracht Frankfurt have already reached a broad agreement.
On the field, too, the 22-year-old has recently demonstrated once again why Bayern is willing to dig deep into its pockets. In the German national team’s 7-1 opening victory over Curaçao, Brown was one of the standout players on the field and even scored a goal.
At the same time, the transfer is moving ever closer to completion. According to information from Sport BILD, Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl and Frankfurt’s sporting director Markus Krösche have already agreed on a total package worth around 55 million euros.
So, a basic agreement is in place. Negotiations are currently focused solely on the exact structure of the deal.
According to the report, the current focus is on the breakdown between a fixed transfer fee and potential bonus payments. Eintracht is pushing for the highest possible guaranteed amount, while Bayern would like to structure part of the sum as performance-based additional payments.
This very point is reportedly the last remaining sticking point in the talks.
However, there are strong indications that this issue will also be resolved shortly. Frankfurt has reportedly already agreed to allow Brown to make the move to Munich. Accordingly, all parties expect the deal to be successfully concluded.

Bayern is also already making the final organizational preparations. According to information from Sport BILD, arrangements have been made so that Brown can undergo his medical exam during the ongoing World Cup in the U.S.
The transfer is then expected to be officially finalized. As previously reported, a long-term contract through 2031 is planned for the German national team player.
This would make Brown the next key piece in Bayern’s squad planning, following Ismael Saibari. Club officials see him as a key reinforcement for the left side—and it appears to be only a matter of time before the deal is finally sealed.
