FC Bayern has apparently finalized its transfer plans for this summer sooner than many had expected. Following the signings of Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, there are reportedly no further new signings planned. There is broad consensus within the club regarding this approach—even Uli Hoeneß expressly supports the decision.

With Nathaniel Brown, Ismael Saibari, and Bara Sapoko Ndiaye—who is set to sign a permanent contract shortly—the Munich club has secured its top targets early on. As things stand, no further signings are planned, despite the transfer window remaining open for several more weeks.

Sporting Director Max Eberl had already hinted at this recently during the training camp at Tegernsee. It is now clear that the decision also has the backing of the club’s governing bodies.

Hoeneß supports the course the club has set

According to information from Sky, Honorary President Uli Hoeneß has also expressed his support internally for not making any further changes to the roster on the incoming side.

The record champions are thus prioritizing continuity. With the exception of Leon Goretzka’s departure, the core of the double-winning team remains intact. The vacant role in central midfield will be filled in the future by Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Tom Bischof, and new signing Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.

From the club’s management’s perspective, the roster is now sufficiently staffed to be competitive both domestically and internationally.

The focus is now on outgoing players

While plans for new signings are complete, there is still work to be done on the sales side. Max Eberl recently stated publicly that João Palhinha, Sacha Boey, and Bryan Zaragoza no longer have a place in the team under Vincent Kompany.

According to information from Sky, FC Bayern is seeking permanent transfers for all three players. However, finalizing these deals is proving difficult. A major reason is the trio’s high salaries, which are nearly impossible for many potential suitors to afford.

There could also be movement regarding Hiroki Ito. Eberl recently stated that Munich would consider a transfer if the Japanese player himself expressed a desire to leave or if concrete offers were received. Following the signing of Nathaniel Brown, Ito is likely to be only the third option at left back and will consequently have to fight for playing time.

However, this does not change the club’s overall transfer strategy. FC Bayern considers its roster for the new season to be complete and will only be active on the outgoing side. As things stand, no further signings are planned.
