Bayern's Bundesliga title celebrations set for Sunday after Köln game | OneFootball

According to information from BILD and Radio Arabella, Bayern Munich's championship celebrations will take place on Munich's Marienplatz on Sunday, 17 May.

Beforehand, coach Vincent Kompany's team will be officially presented with the Meisterschale at the Allianz Arena on 16 May, after they face 1.FC Köln on Matchday 34.

The following day, the team heads to the town hall, where they will be received by Munich's new mayor, Dominik Krause and then present themselves with the trophy on the balcony – in front of fans in Marienplatz.

For the team, the final matchday will be a true celebration marathon. According to the report, after the trophy presentation at the Allianz Arena, complete with the traditional beer showers, the festivities will continue internally.

Accordingly, a large team party with invited guests is planned at the Paulaner brewery on Nockherberg. Players, coaching staff, and management intend to celebrate the successful season together there.

The reticence after the Stuttgart game had a clear reason: Bayern do not want to allow any lapses in concentration in the decisive weeks – after all, the dream of the treble is still alive.

Should Bayern also be successful in the DFB Pokal and the Champions League, there could be another big celebration in store to welcome what would be an unprecedented treble.
