On Monday, 2 March, it was reported by Sky Germany that Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Bayern Munich's Michael Olise.
This is not the first time the Merseyside giants have shown interest in the French winger since joining from Crystal Palace in July 2024.
Now, according to sources at Sport BILD, the Bavarians have set the record straight regarding their intentions with the 24-year-old.
Although both parties are not in talks over a new deal, Bayern fully intend to extend Olise's contract which currently runs until 2029.
As a result, the club’s stance is clear – the midfield star will not be sold under any circumstances, at any price.
The plan is to offer him an improved long-term deal at the appropriate time, while the player himself is happy at the club and willing to wait.
The German champions are currently working on contract renewals for players requiring more immediate attention like Konrad Laimer.
Therefore, it's highly unlikely that Liverpool will sign the winger who has chipped in with 10 goals and 13 assist in 23 Bundesliga games.
