Porto beat Nacional 1-0 at Estádio da Madeira to remain top of Liga Portugal.
In the 60th minute, Jan Bednarek glanced in from a Gabri Veiga cross after a corner.
Kaíque kept the hosts in it before the break with sharp saves, tipping away efforts from Deniz Gül and Thiago Silva. Diogo Costa was alert at the other end, denying Jesús Andrés Ramírez and later Paulinho Boia.
Moments earlier, Porto had introduced Gabri Veiga and Borja Sainz, and Veiga's delivery provided the decisive assist. The visitors then managed proceedings, with further changes including Terem Moffi and Seko Fofana tightening control.
Nacional lost Francisco Gonçalves to injury, with Lenny Vallier coming on in the second half.
Porto registered five shots on target from eight attempts. Nacional produced two on target from nine. The visitors also edged possession with 52.9%.
