Belén Aquino reports for Uruguay duty ahead of Ecuador double-header | OneFootball

Belén Aquino has linked up with Uruguay for the international window, with the Corinthians forward set for a two-game series against Ecuador.

According to Meu Timao, the first match is on Tuesday, the 3rd, at Estadio Arena CHUBB in Ecuador at 17:00, then the sides meet again on Saturday at 14:15 at the same venue.

Aquino joined Corinthians this year and made her debut in the Fifa Champions Cup. She started during a run that ended with the club finishing runners-up after a 2-1 defeat to English side Arsenal.

Beyond Aquino, Corinthians have seven players called up by Brazil and one by Venezuela. On Friday, six Corinthians players featured in Brazil’s 5-2 win over Costa Rica, with Thais Ferreira, Tamires, Duda Sampaio and Jaqueline among the starters.

For Venezuela, midfielder Dayana Rodríguez lost to Cruz Azul last Saturday and will face Brazil on Wednesday.
