Belghali close to Olympique Marseille, as Verona receive €13m offer | OneFootball

Verona right-back Rafik Belghali has been linked with Inter and Roma, but it’s reported Olympique Marseille offered a €13m package deal for the Algeria international.

The 24-year-old impressed at the 2026 World Cup and scored two goals in 26 Serie A games last season, but was unable to prevent the Hellas relegation.

He has emerged as a potential signing for Inter and Roma, who see him as a cheaper alternative to other targets.

However, Tuttomercatoweb claim that a formal proposal has come to Verona from Olympique Marseille, and it is not far off the €15m asking price.

The Ligue 1 side are prepared to bring Belghali in on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season for a total package worth €13m.

They are expected to continue negotiations and could reach an agreement fairly soon.

It is also a huge profit for Verona, who paid just €2m to buy him from Belgian side KV Mechelen last summer.
