Belgium stormed into Mercedes Benz Stadium and cruised to a comfortable win over Muaricio Pochettino's United States side in front of nearly 70,000 fans Saturday afternoon.
Both sides fielded strong starting lineups, with all of Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Jeremy Doku, and Kevin De Bruyne featuring on the day.
And while it was the U.S. who took an early lead through Weston Mckennie, Belgium responded with five unanswered goals to blow the hosts away.
The best of the bunch came from Benfica star Dodi Lukébakio, who fired a rocket in past Matt Turner to cap off a dominant second-half display for Rudi Garcia's Red Devils.
On the USMNT side of things, they remained well in the match for nearly an hour, but the Belgian stars took over from there.
A late Patrick Agyemang strike spared some USMNT blushes, but it did little to pull the home side back into the match.
There will be some minor positives to take, but Pochettino will be surely be concerned that another one-sided defeat to Portugal early next week could dent momentum as his side careens towards the World Cup on home soil.
