Benfica agree loan for Alverca forward Felipe Lima with option to buy | OneFootball

Benfica have agreed a deal to sign Felipe Lima on a season-long loan from Alverca, with an option to buy set at 1.5 million euros for 70% of his economic rights. The 20-year-old Brazilian forward is on his way to Lisbon.

According to A Bola, he is expected to start with Benfica B under Nélson Veríssimo, who oversaw a 2-1 win against Al Nassr, as he looks to establish himself in 2026/27.

Lima came through Flamengo’s system. He made six senior appearances for Alverca last season without scoring. For their B team he registered 14 goals in 23 games.

The move also reflects the close institutional relationship between Benfica and Alverca, which has deepened in recent years and helped both clubs reach an understanding.

If the clause is activated at the end of the season, the loan would become a permanent deal next summer.
