Benfica have already brought in around 90 million euros from recent deals, even before the window opens. Burnley confirmed the permanent signing of Florentino Luís on Friday for 24 million euros.
According to Ramón Álvarez de Mon, José Mourinho wants to strengthen Real Madrid’s defence and has recommended Tomás Araújo. No formal offer has been made, but interest from Madrid remains.
The recent income strengthens the finances of Rui Costa’s hierarchy ahead of the summer market. Marco Silva is building the 2026/27 squad with greater scope to pursue targets.
Confirmed business includes Gonçalo Oliveira to Rennes for 3.5 million euros, with a buy-back option retained, and 15 million euros from José Mourinho’s release clause relating to Real Madrid.
João Neves has earned 2 million euros in bonuses linked to his transfer to PSG. Sidny Lopes Cabral moved to Trabzonspor for 10 million euros fixed, with add-ons possible, and Rafael Rodrigues joined Al Ain for 2.5 million euros for 60 percent of his rights.
The list also features Orkun Kökçü’s 30 million euro obligation at Besiktas. The total could rise in the coming months if further conditions are met.
