Benfica confirm Salomé Prat exit after mutual contract termination | OneFootball

Benfica have confirmed Salomé Prat has left after a mutual termination of her deal, which had run to June 2028, following a surprise return to Lisbon. The club said in a statement that the 24-year-old forward can now pursue a new challenge as a free agent.

Prat joined last summer after impressing for Torreense, scoring in the last minute of extra time to win the 2024/25 Taça de Portugal final against Benfica.

She began the season in Benfica’s senior squad and made three competitive appearances, before joining Dux Logroño on loan for the second half of 2025/26. The Spanish side finished 14th, and she scored two goals in 15 matches.

Despite her brief spell with the first team, the campaign proved historic for Benfica, featuring a sixth successive league title and the Taça de Portugal, though she was not at the club when the trophies were lifted.

Her loan was not extended, triggering a return to the Estádio da Luz, and she departs with thanks for her professionalism during her stay. She is free to decide her next move.
