Benfica eye Felipe Augusto as Trabzonspor set €10m plus Cabral demand | OneFootball

Benfica could be edging towards a deal for Trabzonspor striker Felipe Augusto. According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica have lodged an offer, the Brazilian is keen on a move to Lisbon and he wants to play at Mourinho's Benfica.

Talks may be eased by Benfica's leverage, with a potential sweetener involving Sidny Lopes Cabral.

Trabzonspor are interested in Cabral, having tried to sign him last summer before he chose Benfica. The Turkish club are now seeking €10m plus Cabral on a permanent basis to release Augusto.

Augusto has emerged as a key figure for the north of Türkiye side this season, despite the presence of a heavyweight centre-forward such as Onachu.

He has played 37 official matches for Trabzonspor this term, 31 in the Super Lig, five in the Turkish Cup and one in the Super Cup. Across 2,606 minutes, he has scored 15 goals. He is valued at €10m.
